The artwork was okay, but frankly didn't do the canyon justice. Other than the fact that this is part of the "Wonders of America" series, there is no mention of where the Grand Canyon is located. Too much of the book is spent on how the Grand Canyon was formed and not enough on the things you can see there, no mention is made of the types of plant and animal life that can be found at the Canyon.

Purchased for grandchildren ages 6-8, headed for first visit to the Grand Canyon and it accomplished exactly what was intended. It briefly and easily gives overview that is easily understandable and enjoyable enough to encourage them to want to know more. Highly recommend.

I can't wait to read this book to my class this year. I would order from this company again.

Greatly enjoyed and read by the 5 year old boy who is crazy about the Grand Canyon. He even brought it with him on vacation.

A delightful and informative book that was appropriate for beginning readers. I sent it to my grandson's 1st grade class to highlight something from our home state.

I bought this for my grandson to take on his trip to the Grand Canyon. He loved it -- just perfect for ages 5-9.... short, sweet and great pictures.

Love this book for my daughter. Thank you

A great book for children to appreciate the wonder of the Grand Canyon. It has a simple text and great illustrations.
