This was the perfect gift for a young man to keep positivity and encouragement in his life.

I'll consider making this required reading for any men pursuing leadership in my local church setting. Ryle doesn't stroke your ego or tell you what you want to hear. Gird your loins (thanks King Jimmy for this saying!), he's gonna talk to you like a man! He'll tell you what you need to hear. You're a young foolish man filled with sin and you're on the high road to hell. Thankfully, there is a grace in Jesus to turn back on this road, Ryle helps you find that way back through Jesus. Good stuff, very convicting.

Highly recommended for every young man to read and heed the exhortations given by Pastor Ryle. Great book for fathers to go through with the boys as well. Pass it on to the next generation.

I found this book to be quite useful. Having just gone through a job search myself - I can attest that the tips that Dan provides will definitely help people land a better job. A few things I liked in particular about the book:1. The writing is straightforward and clear, which makes it easy to understand the concepts and put them into practice.2. Dan provides a host of free resources (resume templates, check-list, list of action words, etc.) that makes making changes to your resume easier - these resources were probably worth the price of the book by themselves3. The evidence provided in the book for why I should approach different aspects of my resume a certain way4. The level of detail put into explaining each aspect of developing a resume - helping to paint a clear picture of exactly how to structure each componentOverall, just a great value!

Dan's book is to the point. There is no fluff in this. He tells you what to do, why you are doing it and he provides real-world examples that can be copied directly into your text. The templates are useful and what I loved the most -- NO UPSELLING!!! Most authors want you to buy their book and while you are reading, you learn about their course that you must have to go to the next level. Dan does not do that. Clean, practical, direct. Thank you for this wonderful book. I highly recommend this book.
