Simple and clear instructions, relevant pictures! The author provides in-depth recipes information. Now I understand how this Dutch Oven Cookbook became so popular within such a short period of time. I wish we had more quality cookbooks like this one. Thanks to the author for creating a new book for all of us!
This is an excellent cookbook. The best feature is the short one page recipes. The types of recipes are unusual and sometimes exotic but also many old familiar stew recipes are included. I have tried 2 and both were easy and good tasting. These recipes are for a Dutch oven so nothing is short order or fast but the results of slow cooking are delicious. The book itself is colorfully illustrated and easy to manage while chopping ingredients.
I would not recommend this cookbook. it is of poor quality, not in color and does not have the same organization of a real cookbook. It looks like a teenage typed it on a typewriter. if I could get the full refund I would return it.
In general a good cookbook. I was disappointed with the quality of the pictures - only black and white.
This book gave me the best recipe I have found for a perfect roast chicken. Will never need another recipe book when it comes to dutch ovens!
