Mehhhh. I follow YP on IG and live for his reflective posts that he often shares in the story feature. I expected more of that from this book. It was underwhelming for me since I was expecting something more in-depth and enlightening but it could be just what someone else needs.

I'm not even sure where to begin but, this book is so beautiful in so many ways. â€Inward†is the perfect title as it pulls the reader in. I felt the love and wisdom within every word. So, many pages... I sighed with a sense of resonating! This book could easily be read in one sitting.. Like, an hour or less but, yet...it’s timeless and will definitely be one I read many times over as it creates such deep feelings and thoughts!! I wanted to express my gratitude to the author for bringing forth this gift of love and encourage anyone thinking of whether they should buy it or not to do so... as your soul brought you here for a reason!!
So in reference to the book itself, I’d give it a thousand stars because this author and his writing is absolutely incredible and I cannot get enough of it. I’m giving the low star rating just because I’m disappointed with the way my book arrived right out of the box :( as you can see, the cover is bent and beat up looking with dark marks on it. This is of course something that doesn’t affect the functionality of the book, however, I’m one of those people that takes pride in keeping my books in very good condition, especially an amazing book such as this. If this sounds like I’m crazy or super picky I’m sorry but it’s something that definitely bothers me. I am going to try to return it I guess or maybe pick up in store because I want to support Yung Pueblo but I just wanted to say I was surprised and disappointed to see the book come like this (5 stars for fast shipping though!)
