This book is the best book for VHDL hardware design. The author describes the hardware implementation of the VHDL design.

No question, this book is good for EE student, it helped me a lot during college years. But when it comes to engineers, this book has too much theory or I should said it did not cover the real digital world. You only have an idea what is VHDL and some basics. You don't know what kind of programs, machines, brands and other things in the VHDL field. You can't have an idea what or how are the VHDL engineers doing today. If you are a gradute, try some other books that explain in the engineer way not a undergrad. way.

This book is an excellent introduction to VHDL. It covers a wide array of basic commands as well as their benefits and short-comings. It also covers more powerful commands which are good for large projects or creating reusable pieces. It also comes with a rather old program and examples that go along with the text of the book. Weak in every sense of the word. Having been born in Cairo and lived in the US most of my life I can tell you that the advice in this book is close to useless. The sight seeing information is thin at best and several pieces of info are just flat out wrong. The travel guide at the end is laughable. For example the vocabulary at the end in “common phrases” is very technical and in no way reflects language you would hear the average person using. Use this guide and prepare to be laughed at.

I bought this and the RoughGuide to Egypt. Both great books for our trip (just returned 11 Feb 2017). We left the Rough Guide at the hotel but took the Top 10 guide with us. great quick FYI's and pics. We chose not to hire a guide or take a tour. This book assisted us.

Not the greatest but gives you ideas. Interesting a few things in some top 10 list are 'skip it' in Lonely Planet!

These are my favorite travel books. I wish the map included Giza too, though

I'm a big fan of the DK Top 10 series for books. Since they have a relatively narrow focus, it can be beneficial if you've got a small period of time in a small space. However, Cairo and the rest of Egypt is deserving of a large book since there's lots to see.It's not to say that this book is bad: It'll give you the top 10 things to see in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel - but odds are you're going to see them anyway if you're doing a packaged tour.I like this book, but I can't really recommend it. You're better off buying the Lonely Planet Discover Egypt (Full Color Country Travel Guide) for a little bit more.

I have a lot f Eyewitness travel guides but this was my first "Top 10" book. I definitely prefer other Eyewitness travel guides since I found these "Top 10" guides lack a lot of important information. I still recommend it for those who will travel just a few days to Cairo

I really had no idea what to expect when I purchased this book. I am in my sixties and read the Twilight series with my 3 daughters when they came out, later watching those movies, and I found myself wanting to see (and hear) what was out there at this time for teenagers/young adults to read. I listened to the book on Audibles on my drive to work each day and I was amazed at how often I found myself just cracking up. The characters really come to life through the reader yet they are all distinctly individual. I love the originality of this band of misfits and the constant quick witted bantering that goes on between them. It feels very current, yet still has a sense of the history and unlimited boundaries of the magical world it occupies which believably coexists with our world as we know it. I found this book highly entertaining!

Debra Goelz has created a deliciously funny story in Mermaids and the Vampire Who Love Them. After making a serious mistake, Waverly Fishwater is forced to leave her friends and school to attend a school on the West Coast. This isn't your typical run of the mill mer-school, however. At the new school, Waverly meets students of all types, including fairies, werewolves, Greek gods, and the most dangerous to mermaids, vampires.Just as she is settling in, she uncovers a mystery that threatens the school and its students. Determined to get to the bottom of it, she enlists the help of her friends to help her solve it before it's too late.Waverly's character immediately clicked with me, and I related to her spunk, sense of humor and curiosity. I thoroughly enjoyed her interaction with the other characters who were also intriguing and often hilarious. I was especially drawn to the relationship between Waverly and her hottie Vampire boyfriend Pierce Knightguard.It was particularly enjoyable to listen to the audio. The narrator was fantastic and I quickly became immersed in the story. I highly recommend Mermaids and the Vampires who Love Them to all mermaid lovers and all who enjoy reading YA humor. I dare you not to snort with laughter!

Absolute must-read for anyone who has ever dreamed of being a mermaid! Or even if, for some weird reason, you've never wanted to be a mermaid, it's a rollicking great time!Confession - this was my first audiobook, so I wasn't sure what to expect going into it. How would the voice actor handle different characters? Would I get lost in the story if I could only listen (I'm very visual)? Would I connect and find myself in the story's world? Would my kids bug me while listening, since they didn't see a book in my hand?But really, this audiobook is the greatest! The adorable characters and fabulous world-building sucked me right in, and I was hooked (pun intended). It pushed all the right buttons for me - quirky humor, twisty-turny plot, characters to love, as well as a very talented voice actor who is the cherry on top. Giggles and swoons guaranteed, plus free hands for the popcorn. Five stars all around.

This is an absolutely delightful story, and it has just made my day listening to it. I have read this story in a couple forms with its start on Wattpad, and it is amazing to see how it has transformed. Goelz weaves an enchanting tale of a young mermaid who finds herself literally out of water and in a school where certain students might be interested in a snack like her. But that isn't all she has on her plate. There are other missing mers to worry about, and she has to learn how to handle all of these competing interests. Goelz creates an immersive world that is easy to envision living alongside ours. Not only that, but it is delightfully humorous with wry notes about life, school, love, and growth. An absolute must read. I can't wait to read more of Goelz's stories in the future.

Debra Goelz is one of the rare authors who has the rare ability to make me laugh aloud. Mermaids and the Vampires who Love them is a story every mermaid lover should listen to. Even if you hate mermaids, you should still listen to it. I had so much fun tagging along with Waverly (and you know she's going to be awesome just by her name alone, am I right?) As she tried to solve the case of who the mernapper is while dealing with Algebra and other fantastical beings. If you enjoy books that transport you into a different world, this is the one to pick up.To compliment the superb writing is Cassandra Morris who did a phenomenal job reading this book. I love it when narrators totally get a character and she did.I totally enjoyed this book and hope...No, I KNOW you will too.

This is one of the finest books i have read in Security. It gives details on some of the best security principles every major industries must follow to achieve data protection and user authentication/authorization for their web applications. I am a security professional so I could finish this book in a few days but for a first timer or new to the world of security this will be a great book to get an idea on how things work in enterprises.

Book goes thru various security concepts, history and approaches, has javaScript/Node.JS/NPM code for reference. If your looking for a good detailed overview of web security for web development, then this is the boo for you.

Not what I expected. The book is more of an example for implementing OAuth and OpenID Connect with Node and Express. If you are looking for an in-depth explanation of OAuth or OpenId, then this is the wrong book.The book starts with a very high level overview of security concepts. This is rather basic, and most of it I already knew (and I am not a security expert).Then it has a closer look at OAuth and OpenID Connect. But the explanation is just 5 pages, and one page is a diagram. The diagram is worse than the one you find in Wikipedia (there should be 3 actors). The rest is mostly code (which I was not interested in).At that point I stopped reading, as it wasn't what I was looking for.
