I love the black and white images. My baby smiles when we read this book together, and stares intently at each picture. I also love that this book is in both German and English, so grandparents can read in their native tongue. Most of the black and white books on Amazon are about 10 pages long. For about the same amount of money, this book has 48 pages. The 21 different rhymes makes the book feel fresh each time, as I will sometimes read 5 or 6 rhymes at a time. The rhymes are classics, and bring back memories from my childhood. I especially like that I can sing every nursery rhyme. My three year old also loves this book, and insists that we sing “I’ve been working on the railroad” over and over again (he’s obsessed with trains). I am so happy that I stumbled across this book.

Nice idea but the German translations are quite forced (it's my mother tongue).Would have been nicer if they would have a better flow and actually still rhyme. Not just word by word translations.Was still a good gift for a baby shower for my nephew.Nice illustrations and plenty of nursery rhymes.

We are a homeschooling family and we are currently learning German. This book has been lots of fun to learn nursery rhymes in German and for us to use to help submerse ourselves in the language.

I bought this for my two month old grandson. I like to sing German lullabies to him. My son doesn’t speak German fluently, so I bought this so that he could learn with the baby. My grandson loves it when I sing the lullabies in this book, and he enjoys staring at the black and white pictures. Each one of them grabs his attention, and makes him smile.

Nice idea. I like the images in it. But it basically is English nursery rhymes and a somehow matching german translation. So you can't use the german words instead of the English ones on the melodies.

This wasn't what I expected. I thought "The Big Book of Ninja Turtles" would include some back story about how the turtles ended up as ninjas. Nope. Many of the pages were exact duplicates of "Enter the Lair". This book does go over more of the villains in detail. I really wish we had gotten this one first instead. If you are looking for something to introduce your little one to the history of the TMNT get "The Green Team" instead (even if he or she isn't reading). It was exactly what I wanted and wasn't too long for me to read to my 4 year old.

OMG! My son loves this book! It's definitely his fave and has taught him soooo much more about his favorite show.

The writer has a very friendly and laid-back voice, and he seems to sympathize a lot with English to French learners. I got the Kindle version, which was pretty cheap, and from all of the takeaways I've found in this book, I think it's going to be worth it. Something about this book just makes you feel encouraged to learn.

One, the power went off during a storm, yet there was the glow from a night-light in the hallway, and shortly after that the power comes back on. Maybe I missed something. Second, I read the digital version where there were numerous occurrences of sentences dropping to the next line for no apparent reason. There was plenty of room on the current line.Overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next book in the series.

Tucker Haynes is from the wrong side of the tracks. His cruel upbringing has left him with a very pessimistic outlook on people and the world in general.Tucker is an undercovercop working in Rascal, Texas. His cover is that he is a homeless man and is wandering in the complex where July lives. A rare snowstorm has July offering him a warm place to stay and a hot meal until the weather changes. This is the beginning of a great story and you will have to read the book to see what happens between July and Tucker. You won't regret it.

I loved the undercover police officer plot. July is such an amazing woman. So sweet and soft hearted. Tucker is a tortured soul that had some family things to take care of before he could fully commit. Great book!!

She is a do-gooder. A social worker looking to help everyone but herself. He is an undercover cop looking to nab had guys. What they go thru ... Well you seriously need to read this while series!

Another great read. The Texas Rascal series just keeps getting better with each book. Can't wait for the next. You can't go wrong with a Lori Wilde book.

From undercover to social worker, from criminals to homeless, the bAckbone of characters either stiffened or easily went. About doing good. How much h is too good? How much is too cynical? Will Tucker and July surfAce through the debris to understand love?

I was so looking forward to reading this book and excited but little did I know it would take me on a journey to learn that given and receiving is still very important in life...and learning how to let go of the past. Thank you Lori Wilde once again for keeping the mystery and excitement alive!!!! And let's not for get the love !!!

A true love story with some suspenseful moments. A great story by a great author. Lori Wilde is awesome and knows how to write a great book.
